Our Story
The DestinationRx concept started when our physician and pharmacist founders witnessed their patients struggling to cope with rising prescription drug costs. To help their patients, our doctors turned to the Internet in search of lower prescription drug prices. What they found were hundreds of online drugstores offering literally thousands of products--from prescription drugs to general healthcare items. These websites were limiting in two significant ways. First, consumers had no way of knowing if they were getting the best prices available. Second, while the product offering was extensive, there was little relevant information to help consumers select and purchase their products. Simply put, consumers had to visit countless websites and manually compare all the options, one product and one site at a time!
Our physicians and pharmacists responded to this problem by creating DestinationRx.com, a website focused exclusively on saving money for consumers. We help consumers maximize their healthcare budgets by offering accurate comparison shopping information, valuable tools, technological resources, and special savings programs.
